Access denied to one site only

Hi can you help? For many years I have been accessing the following website Halifax Today: News, Sport, Jobs, Property, Cars, Entertainments & More but for the last few days no joy, although the site is accessable by other peoples computers! I have no problems with any other site just this one! Use XP and have a wired ethernet connection to a BT home hub. When I try to load the site I receive no message - the green bar thing at the bottom of the screen fills to about 90% but no further.
