Should I run a Registry Scan?

My computer is starting to run slow, getting error boxes, and can't open curtain files or attachments in emails. I ran a couple Registry Scans that I found on line and they come up with over 1000 errors or problems. Should I run a registry scan? If so, what registry scan should I run, anyone have any favorites? Thanks....

Registry Cleaner

The Registry is constantly changing as you use your computer. Many temporary settings are recorded so having a recurrence of errors is not uncommon. Rather it is common. Unused file extensions or MRU entries will always recur.

That being said: the first time that you ever use a cleaner you will probably get several hundred hits.

If you cleanup regularly you will always find some.

Cleaners vary on how deep they dig.

I use this freeware which is a moderate digger:

Before using any cleaner you should back up your registry.

yeah go and download a free advanced windows care and run a scan on it. It should fix some registry errors. This a common problem with after several add/remove programs in the past. hopes this help
