Drivers Tool Install

Has anyone seen this Driver Tool " Driver Detective " Driver Detective | Driver Update Software for Windows XP and Vista
I signed up an bought this tool its a big problem it is a fake tool does nothing for your PC except stuff all your PC files up and the owner never answers your emails also will not refund monies back DO NOT USE OR TRY THIS DRIVER DETECTIVE IT'S A FAKE TOOL IN MY OPINION.
As soon as i started to use this Driver Detective it completely stuffed up my Real Player files i lost all my movies an music plus it finds drivers you do not need plus most of the drivers will not install talk about being conned i was by this Driver Detective.
I put this post here to let everyone know don't be sucked in like i was by it's pretty features it's all fake just like its owner my opinion.

A Google search of Driver Detective does show much that would encourage me not to use it. I hope you were able to recover and thanks for sharing your experience.

Generally, I don't put any faith in programs that promise to optimize your computer. A properly running computer does not need optimizing. And if not properly running, it needs fixing.

hey great quote,,yeah was an experience we learn by mistakes,hymn some drivers do need updating i am one to update get the best out of mt Notepad you don't update stuff in time PC no work properly my opinion

In general that is true - but not all hardware drivers need to be updated just because new drivers are out - the exception may be graphics card, which are tweaked for performance .

Oh okay so why the new drivers? hymn like this? Driver Marvell Yukon 88E8072 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller does that ever need update how you know when it needs update,,i updated it but Microsoft put same driver back? program said it need updating?so who is right?

Just my opinion:

Never use a Driver Updater program.

Period.

I don't understand how this has become a large business but it appears it has.

I am sorry that even this site advertises such programs.

If you don't have a problem: don't fix it.

Again as Digerati noted the only exception is Graphics Drivers and then only if you are into gaming and/or a CAD application where Graphics Drivers are frequently updated in response to software needs.

Okay thanks yes well you be surprised how many have bought driver detective as its just fake tool that company needs to be stopped but how i am lazy that's one of the reasons i got it anyway water under the bridge now move on beware,and i have a lot to learn about computers i got the this notepad running good now touch wood loll i need to fix stuff myself okie cya.
