Hi

I recently got a new computer - Dell Vostro 1500 with Vista Business loaded. Generally it's fine but I am having some problems loading some web pages. For instance, in Hotmail I can generally open my e-mail messages OK but when I click through on the Reply button, nothing happens, it does not even give me an error message. The same when I try and log in on Facebook, and occcasionally I can't even type in the login fields on Facebook (and I can't type in the login fields on this site either!). I have tried using IE, Firefox and Google Chrome and I've experienced these problems with them all.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be very grateful.

Regards
Tammy

Re: Page loading issue

Hi ,

Not 100% what's causing the problem but the most common cause is malware , your firewall could also be blocking scripts essential for the webpage to run correctly . Also have a look at clearing all cookies and temp files from your pc . Scan with AV and try using some online malware scanners - this will stop any erratic action whilst browsing as the malware application gets blocked . I personally use firethreat ( AV and malware scanner ) and Adware anniversary edition ( both free ) both have online scanners . Another good safety program is spyware blaster - protects browsers from all kinds of threats and runs actively in the background - covers threats for both IE and Firefox .

Hope that helps
