there are many applications a web page can use to determine your ip address...it is not uncommon at all, espicially for internet explorer with cookies enabled...if you have a good firewall, I wouldn't worry to much about it, but there are also applications and settings you can use to stop your browser from reporting your ip address....also, if you are behind a router, the only ip address reported is the outside ip address of your internet conection, the router will not reveal your true ip address ( usually 192.168.x.x)
