ISP Issue

My boyfriend's internet is being buggy. When I'm at his house I sometimes cannot connect to my online game's server(but firefox will work completely as normal).

When it does work I always eventually get kicked off due to a "loss of connection", even though my connection hasn't gone out. I've tried resetting the router several times. The router is encrypted, his computer isn't connected to the internet, and I don't have any downloads going on.

Have you tried disabling windows firewall?

Yeah, windows firewall was disabled. I'm sometimes able to connect I'm wondering if my ISP is blocking it for whatever reason.
