changing processor
How do I change processor? Do I simply buy a new one and put in in the motherboard where the other one was? Or is it much more complicated than that?

Hi and welcome to D-A-L

how old is the PC?

if you just want to speed up the PC adding more RAM will help.

changing the processor is simple if you know what you're doing, you have to be careful with ESD, making sure the BIOS will take the bigger chip
