Want to upgrade cpu in my destop (Compaq Presario 5000). RAM is already maxed out at 512MB. System Info:

In my opinion this computer is not worth upgrading.

Even if you could find a compatible CPU it would not be much faster.

I see the limit at about 1 Ghz max. if you could find one.
