So, I usually ask these questions at every forum that I belong to. The more you tell, the better!

- What made you decide that you wanted to leave your previous operating systems? ( Did you hear all the buzz? Were you disgusted with your old system for some reason? )

- Have you tried other, free or otherwise, options after deciding to leave your original system before sitting down in the Linux world?

I didn't "leave" Windows. I have a dual boot.

What convinced me to use Linux? Using it, believe it or not. I had to use it at my college for various computer-related classes.

I haven't tried any other OSes besides Linux and Windows... on my own PC, that is. I've used Mac some.. including the modern Mac OS X and the old-school Apple Macintosh II.
