Post Best Linux for Old PC

Hi,
I have a spare pc.
On my main Pc I have Ubuntu and Xp as a dual boot.

My old pc specs:
Packard Bell Pc:
2.40 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
256 MB of RAM
SiS 650 (32 MB) Video Card
60 GB HDD

I tried Xubuntu on my old pc but I did not like it. What distros are best suited to the above specs?

Thanks.

Isn't this post the same as your other post. The same ones should work. With the live CDs they will let you know if they will work or not. What will work on one computer will not always work on another computer even if they are identical.

Re: Best Linux for Old PC

Some times you just have to try a lot of linux os. I have tried up to 5 & the last one loaded & work fine. So I had the one to work on older computers. Next one I tried it on would not work. It is time consuming. So take a deep breath & keep trying.
