TV Cards for MAC?

I have just brought myself a Pinacle TV card and installed it myself (oh i'm so proud!)

Anyways i owe a friend a favour and i am getting a TV card for him to say thank you. Does anyone know if i need to get a specific card or will the same one i got work on his MAC?

I do not know a great deal about compatibility

cheers

Em

Re: TV Cards for MAC?

MAC's need cards & or accessories (external USB devices) made for MAC's. Here is a place to start looking:

http://www.google.com/search?q=TV%20Cards%20for%20MAC

& congratulations on your card

Re: TV Cards for MAC?

Do you know what kind of mac he has? If he has a powermac it will have to be a PCI one, but imacs and emacs etc dont have PCI slots.
I should get a USB one - Cos they all have USB ports
