G4 MAC TOWER help

hi all i was given a G4 MAC TOWER can anyone tell me if i can change the operating system on this go easy on me never had a mac b4

Do you want upgrade the MAC OS? Or do you want to run Windows? Or Linux? Or what? Some reading:

G4?? Is it a bluey gray one? Best bet is to install linux on it. I doubt boot camp will run very well on a G4 Powermac. Other alternative is to look on ebay for mac os x. I picked up a boxed copy of 10.3 (panther) for under £30.

Once you have OS X, you probably never want a PC again
