what is bootcamp ?

my macbook desktop have an icon BOOTCAMP. izite i save all exe. files inside it, then i can run it like normal pc like that ? or i have to purchase a 3rd party software window XP for my macbook ?

i just wanna install exe. software, example games, what shld i do ? can some one teach me thru here?

Bootcamp allows you to run XP on your Mac.

You need to buy a retail version of XP from Microsoft (or a distributer).

bootcamp actually boots into windows, so os x doesnt run in the background,

however parallels allows you to run windows at the same time
