Unhappy Screen of death? Need Help

I have a 15" Mac Book pro. I was using it the other day on ebay & yahoo, & all of a sudden the screen went blue and fuzzy. I restarted, same thing. Called Mac Tech Asstistance & they had me run a few troubleshooting ideas & nothing worked. We are about 400 miles from the nearest Apple Store & about 150 miles from a "certified Mac specialist". My company's IT doesn't service Mac's either & I honestly don't know how to fix it. I'm wondering if the video card died & how easily & inexpensively this issue can be fixed. Help!!!!

Re: Screen of death? Need Help

I am trying to hook up a Dell monitor (Dell E172FP) to my MacPro notebook. Simply hooking it onto the computer does not work. does it need a driver. If so which driver I need and how do I download it from the internet. thanks in advance.
