Java

I just got a new powerbook mac osx and i have java installed but java does not work on some sites that require it. Any suggestions?

All I know to tell you is to uninstall/reinstall or try either a mac or java specific forum. I don't believe that we have any regular posters that use Macs. Sorry. I sure don't so I don't know what to tell you.
