Hi, is there any way I can transfer some old music cassettes to my PC ? I have Windows Media player 9 and Nero burning or do I need some further software or hardware.
I'd be grateful for any help
I for example have popped a line-in jack from my record/tape deck into my pc sound card. I then use SoundForge to record the records or tapes. You can then convert them into MP3's from there. It is not a job for a complete novice. If you would like the full details I can list it for you. There is also FREEWARE software that will allow you to split the recorded tape file into separate tracks too. http://cuemaster.host.sk/#desc
I have used Audio Cleaning Lab 2004 manufactured by MAGIX to transfer audiocassettes and LPs to my PC then burn them to CD. Not that expensive a product either! Here's the url
