Mouse wheel wont work after connected to USB hub

Hi, I hope you can help me. I just connected a 4 point usb hub to my computer and then connected both the keyboard and the mouse. But now the scroll whell wont work. I can press on it and get the ball symbol that allows you move the page in the direction you move the mouse, but I cannot scroll. This is the same in all applications. I have went to the mouse properties and reset the values again, but it dosn't help. Drivers are all updated. Any ideas??

Are you sure you got the right drivers, some hardware manufacturers supply different drivers for USB than PS2 connections.
