I have been trying to figure out how to burn my home videos onto dvd+r disks. I have been successful with using the dvd-r's. The burner I have is a dvd (plus) and (minus) r, so i am not sure what I am missing. Can anyone offer assistance? thanks!
They are AFAIK 2 different formats, your DVD Writer may support one or possibly both or maybe one partially. Readup here: http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/110

The process should be no different. Simply put either type of blank disc in and it should work. What make and model of burner are you using and what brand of media. It could be a duff batch of discs. What message do you get when you try and burn to a +R?
