please help me!

Hi
I got new ipod for xmas. In order to install iTunes I had to download windows service pack 4. Did this and installed it, ok.
However whenever I import a CD into iTunes the whole thing crashes everytime it gets to the last second of the last track. Bit of a pain!
Plus it seems my internet connection also keeps crashing when I am in iTunes - a bit annoying as you have to connect to download song titles!!
Can anyone please help me before I go insane or sell my ipod!
PS. i use windows not a Mac if this helps.

hey iv been looking around for a while and cant find much im afraid, i can only think of things like updates of your ipod itself and of the software. also have you tried things like disc clean up on your ipod?

if none of this helps and your still stuck in a while i would definatly suggest contacting who you got it off for more help or apple themselves. i think they send replacements.

I'm still baffled - I've now got the iTunes and ipod updates but problem still happening.
Still a few ideas left to try from other people on the board.
Not tried disc clean up - how do i do that?

try www.ipodlounge.com i saw loads on there for problerms but u will know what ur looking for more then me but it sounds very common from what i can see
