ktwsolo Is a beginner here at D-A-L
going to "stand by" causes AIM to sign off

Does anyone know why this happens or know if there's a way to still be logged into AIM while your computer is on stand by? Thanks.

I suspect that you'd actually need AIM to be logged off - otherwise the modem is likely to keep waking the PC up to check if any of your friends have logged on ......... probably.
