GoBack conflict with new motherboard???

I've used GoBack 3 Delux (from Roxio but now owned by Symantec) for years without trouble and I love it. After just recently switching to a new motherboard and processor (ABIT AV8 and Athlon 64) GoBack screws up my drive partitions and then hangs. Its been a real problem and I've had to repartition and do all that that implies to get running again. Luckily I had a backup. I've never seen anything like this before and wonder if it isn't related to my new motherboard drivers or configuration. I have RAID drivers installed, but don't use RAID drives. Could that be it? It appears Symantec doesn't support this program anymore so no luck there. Help, I'm ready to scream!

Just to eliminate possible conflicts: if you don't use RAID then don't use the drivers.

Another consideration is that if you are using XP it is usually neccessary to do at least a Repiar Install of XP on the new hardware.

Sorry, I should have mentioned it earlier. I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. And yes, I've stopped installing the RAID drivers, but this didn't seem to help.
