Nero Wave Editor Problems

Hi there,

I have a few tracks on my computer that I want to cut down and I know how to do this quite easily on Nero Wave Editor. The problem is that whenever I save the track in MP3 format, the track is compressed to 80kbs which gives me the worst sound quality ever!!
I saved into another format, (Wave) which sounds great but the problem with that is that the file size is huge.

Does anyone know how to stop Nero Wave editor from compressing my MP3 files when I edit them?

I haven't used Nero Wave Editor before but I would have thought that there would be options for this. Have a look on the Tools menu and see if there is an Options item at the bottom.

Alternatively, when you go to File > Save As, see if there are any other buttons on that dialog to open up more options. Also check the Save As Type drop-down box if there is one - there might be different MP3 formats (i.e. compressions) in the list.
