Taking Screenshots

There were times when i wanted to a screenshot of an object on my desktop or any other window. I am looking for a software which will let me do this.

For eg: I want to take a screenshot of the Windows Task Manager so that i can post it here for any problems related to it.

If my memory serves me right, i think this topic was started bedore. I serached through many threads but couldnt find it. So please help me getting one.

PS: It would nice if i can get a software which not big insize (1-1.5 MB in size )

I've used this for a long time. Used to be totally free. Now I see they add their logo (watermark) to the shot.
