lost photos

Not sure if I am in the right place, but here gos. I lost some photos(trojan I think) now I need them. I keep hearing how people can find stuff on your harddrive once deleted. Is there a free program around that will do this or do goverment agencys have only.

No, it won't work once you've formatted your drive. Formatting basically overwrites every piece of your hard disk so that none of the original data is there.

Try also Active Undelete.
It recovers even formated data and it's absolutely free
