Keyboard error
Not sure if this is softare problem or not, when I type the following letters this happens:
h6 g5
have checked keyboard in control panel & device manager, also tried FN & Num LK etc
any help would be useful!

Hi, yes i did system restore as a first option, it started a few hours ago, numbers 5 & 6 come out like this: g5 h6 and letters h & g come out as h6 g5..wierd I thought that the numeric keyboard was locked on but this doesnt seem to be the case

can you remove the keyboard from the PC and give it a shake, sometimes dust etc get stuck under the keys.
have you another keyboard to try?

Cant shake the keyboard as its a laptop! though was tempted to shake the whole laptop!! however I did dust keys and tapped them all hard and it seems to have resolved, hopefully dust was the problem and thats it..many thanks. Kim
