security software - any ideas?
Can you guys suggest any good security software?
I've only been using a virus scanner so far - but I am getting fed up with spam mails, popups and I fear the scanner won't even find all the serious stuff - dread to think a hacker could be after my lil PC to abuse it for their sinister purposes.
So, I am willing to go and do something about it; I am even willing to spend money on it.
I just need your advise first.

I run Spybot, and BlackICE, and McAfee antivirus, all of which I recommend.
I run the ewido online scan now and then to get an 'outside opinion.'

I am running Norton Internet Security - it's a full fledged security suite; installs out of the box and takes care of everything ranging from viruses (virii?) and spam to targeted hacking attacks and internet popups.

I also thoroughly recommend Norton Internet Security. The latest versions handle viruses, spam mail, hackers, spyware, adware, the whole lot.
