copying CD+G files, aspi drivers???

Im a bit baffled because i cant copy CD+G files although my dvd re-writer states its up to the job and nero (express 6) states it does.

Ive been through all the drive spec and it supports raw 90 etc but for whatever reason only copies the audio.

now the only thing i have found is a mention of aspi driver is this is whats missing and how do i check if i do not have it?

any help would be great
