Outlook has compacted my files and deleted them all.

I hope this is the best place to post this question.

I am on Windows XP and last night Outlook compacted all of my files and has deleted them all. I don't have a back up but I have found them on my pc in my documents and settings. I just wondered if anyone knew how I could restore them back to outlook.

Please please help.
