Which do I use?

I just installed a Nexxtech Double Layer Drive.

On the box it says I can use all these:

16X DVD+R
16X DVD-R
8X DVD+RW
6X DVD-RW
8X DVD+R DL
4X DVD-R DL
48X CD-R
24X CD-RW
48X CD-ROM

Which one should I use for recording music?

Which one should I use for still photographs? [To display on my Television]

I haven't bought any discs yet. Didn't want to buy any I didn't need.

Sorry for the delayed response:

24X CD-RW for pics and audio.

DVD is only for large data or if you are burning DVDs (movies)

DL is double layer

R is Read only

RW is Read and Write
