Re: Error accessing the system registry

Then you don;t need codecs. It should come up as pictures like on a SD card, USB stick, or cd that you have stored personal pictures on. I'm kinda stumped as to why this cd won't open on your laptop when it does on your other ones. I hafta do some further research to look into this.

It is not a laptop, it is a desktop.

Dell Inspiron 530s

My Uncle has the exact same computer, same guts and every thing. Works fine on his. Something seems to be missing from mine.

Re: Error accessing the system registry

AlbumSee - allow to create, edit and view virtual photo albums. You can view, scale, pane, export, print of photos inside built-in viewer. AlbumSee consists of two programs: AlbumSee Wizard and AlbumSee Viewer.
AlbumSee Wizard

To view an album AlbumSee Viewer is used. It is a compact photos viewer, that works in the full screen or window mode. Its opportunities include:viewing, scaling, panning, export of photos, thumbnails preview, and also slide show mode.

You might try clicking on the link I provided and downloading their software to get this working.

Talking Re: Error accessing the system registry

OK, I did the download.....put the CD in and got the same error message.

So I opened the AlbumSee and was able to access the CD in a round-about way. But I am able to view it now.

Wonder if they will make me purchase the download after a period of time?

Oh well.....it works!!!!!

Thanks for the help.

Re: Error accessing the system registry

If you look in your ERROR Log in Windows it might give you a code of the registry error and you can google it to see what fixes were used to rectify your error. Glad something worked out for you.

Also can you burn those images on another cd using your cd writer without using anything else but the images of the cd. Just like burning photos.
