IP 5000 Printer

Hi, My printer died, with error message "Waste Ink Tank Full" I pulled printer apart and washed the ink tank foam bits and put back together. But the reset codes I have dont work. Anyone got any ideas or the proper reset codes for the Australian Cannon IP 5000. Thanks
