inserting graphics in Word

In my work I am putting a lot of pictures into a Word .doc document. In the final outlay the pictures are all of the same width and at the same place on the page. I found that the most simple way to insert about 30 pics into a 15 pages document is to do it on word97. I copy first all the pictures from another document and insert them into the Word document, then I give each one the standard size and I drag it to the right position.
Now I wonder if there is a way to give all the pictures at once the right size and/or perhaps also the standard position. This will save a lot of work.
