Windows Media Center....

Ok so how do you stop windows media center from appearing on it's own??
I have spotted no correlation to it showing up and what I'm currently doing on my PC.
I never use it and don't think it's necessary for the computer to run so is there a way to disable it and stop it from appearing on its own accord?

Ok fixed it. It was every time Guildwars closed. On the target in properties a certain code was at the end of it. (-mcu i think) removal of this section of text stopped WMC from appearing every time the application was closed.
