Powerpoint presentations

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question!

Basically, I'm trying to get to grips with Powerpoint 2003.

If I click on a typical PP presentation, it opens up as a slide show.

However, when I prepare my own - or at least try to - and save it as 'Presentation', the icon looks different to a standard PP presentation. When I click on it, it takes me into the program itself (ie as if i want to edit it).

How to do I finalise a presentation, so that if I send it to someone, for example, all they have to do is click on it for it to run. (At present, to see it as a slide show, I have to click on the 'Slide Show' button' in the editing program.)

Thanks for any help you can give me.

James

Me again.

Forget the above question. When saving, I hadn't gone down far enough the menu options. I now know what to do. If Admin wants to delete this thread please do. I would, but I can't seem to find a delete button.
