corrupt file please run chdsk utility?

okay so i have been facing this problem from a while i reinstalled my windows a couple of times and it didnot work the problem is that some times in the task bar i got error saying like "c:/program files/ skype/ skype .exe is corrupt and unreadable please run chdsk utility and it realy does this with a lot of random files not only skype of course lots and lots of other files
it doesnot rlly matter for me coz although it says it is curropt and unreadable that file runs normally so this is just wondering , why does this happen?

Did you try to reinstall Skype?
Do you have Skype running as a startup?

well its not only skype as i said it just says that for alot of files on c and yes i reinstalled of the files it works for like 3 days then its corrupt again but remeber it is not only skype i was just makin an example

1. Click Start, click Run, type chkdsk /f /r, and then click OK.
2. At the command prompt, type Y to let the disk scanner run when you restart the computer.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Chkdsk will run.
