i need a voice recorder program ^^ high quality ^^

okay ... i make youtube tutorials for different staff lately i done well with just typing through notepad but now i need real voice !! ^^
i tried 3 voice recorders .. ( 2 from intrenet 1 from entertainment from accessories )
now whenever i say some thing in the mice then run the file i get no sound at all!!
my mice works fine on skype /yahoo/windows live!!
so can u guide to a good voice recorder and how to use it ?? thanks in advance !!

Audacity is bloody good if you're on XP

tis free and open source, but does have some probs finding sound devices in vista.

tis easy to use, and can be set to very high quality
