Windows XP restarts while trying to write cd via nero

I have Windows XP SP1 and also has bundled Nero 5.5.
For last 10-15 times while trying to copy or write cd, after 50% proces, my system restarts and error report suggest 'device driver' problem. Can some body help me out of this?

my first thought is to uninstall nero, as i had similar problems after installing it.

i've never had any problems just letting XP burn disks.

on the other hand, if you want to keep nero, it seems like you need to find new drivers for your CDRW drive. have you tried going through the device manager?
start>(rt. click) my computer> manage > device manager >(rt, click) CDRW drive > update driver

or check your CDRW Drives' site for software (xp drivers)?
