Why isnt my maple story working? Its saying fail to find proper screen mode for gr2d

I would try to load the driver in Safe Mode with Networking.

To get there restart the computer and in between the computer logo or BIOS POST screen and Windows (before Windows starts) tap the F8 key.

From the option screen choose Safe Mode with Networking.

This will load only basic drivers but will allow you to go on-line.

Then go back to the nVidia page and try again.


ALSO: One thing that just occurred to me: have you reloaded XP SP2 (if it wasn't included in your re-install)? Many new drivers require SP2.

Go to start > All Programs > Windows Update

You can check to see if you have it already by right clicking My Computer

Then left click Properties

This will show your current version of XP

okay. So i was reading off your other forum that you run "winver" or something like that and i ran it and it said i have a Service Pack 1 and i dont know how to get Service Pack 2 (SP2 rite?)

Yes. Click start then All Programs then Windows Update

The first thing it will probably do is tell you to upgrade Windows Update

Just follow the prompts and say YES

Eventually it will list all updates: SP2 being the main one. This is a large download. Even on a DSL connection it might take like 20 minutes.

Do i click custom or express?
