Re: MapleStory - "failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D"

How do you find the hardware manufacturer? I'm not really sure what to do since I haven't done this before. Where's my graphics device ID ?

Some simple instructions would be greatly appreciated

Re: MapleStory - "failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D"

Did you try a System Restore?

System Restore
--------------------------------------------------
You might try a System Restore to a point prior to your problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

.....................

Otherwise things are not so simple. Sorry.

If your computer is a brand name and you never added any hardware to it then tell us the make and model of the computer such as: Dell Dimension 1234 or HP Pavilion 1234 etc.

If on the other hand you or someone added a graphics card to the computer we need to know the make and model of the graphics card.

You could check under: "start > control panel > add or remove programs" and see if you have any programs listed under either ATI or NVIDIA.

Re: MapleStory - "failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D"

Do you know if you have a graphics card or is your graphics running on the motherboard.

If you do not know one way of finding out is look where your monitor is plugged in.

Is it towards the top edge and vertical or towards the lower middle and horizontal?

Also can you look for a label to ID the computer? Perhaps on the side or back.

The scan shows Compaq Presario 061 but Compaq does not list such a model.
