Metal Gear Solid 2 Subtance Black Screen.

Okay well, I downloaded the ISO files of Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, did it all correctly and now when i open Metal gear solid 2 Substance it opens you hear music, sounds etc, but it gives me a black screen. Okay I googled it. and they have patches for Geforce, and ati, radeon, but mine is ghetto built in intel.
And Nothing on GOOGLE sais anything about intel.

How do i fix this??



I'm going to upload a video. Of me attempting to open it. The Game works thats for sure, i managed to play the game without seeing the menu. ( Dont ask)

And yes my computer is windows XP
Just i made it look like Vista... which could be the problem, it interfered with windows movie maker before.. ill test that later..

Edit: Okay knowing the fact my computer says gateway instead of Emachines is just bothering me.. I cant sleep knowing that LOL. Is there anyway to fix this?

Edit: The Splash Screen at the very start when you turn on the computer.
Instead of a Giant E and intel in the corner it says Gateway with a cube and intel in the corner.

Edit: As you can see i'm paranoid about this xD
but i just read emachines is thinking of buying gateway or something so...
that calmed me down a bit. But changing it back to emachine will make me feel better (: Now that ive calmed down. nite. or good morning lol

As the drivers did not allow the game you most likely need a PCI_E card to run that game.

Hey, was this issue resolved? I'm having the same problem (though I don't know how to get all that information OP posted).

From my research this game cannot be played on "onboard" graphics which also eliminates most laptops.

If you have a PC you need an independent graphics card capable of running this game.

What is the make and model of your computer?

I don't know how to check that up (<--computer noob). All I know is that my computer is a Dimension 2350 Windows Xp.

Well, i decided to put the game on my aunts computer and i was happy it works. THen i had this problem with literally EVERYTHING being invisble. But then i fixed it.
