Help with graphics driver

Hi, i have my custom computer and i had to do a system restart recently and when i want to play a new game i had to download a new graphics driver. so i did, but in the middle of installing it my computer went crazy and it constantly freezes and restarts itself until i take the graphics driver back off. is there any way of fixing it or is my graphics card dead.

Need a little more info, what make and model of comp, what OS, what graphics card, you can get Belarc http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
copy and paste the report, but not the Software License section, from there we can be sure your getting the right drivers.

Hope this helps

It's not showing your graphics card, what is the make and model of your card, look in Device Manager right click My Computer / Properties/Hardware tab/Device Manager- any yellow ?or ! marks shown.

Heres the link to your graphic driver from http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_91.47.html
if you are not in the US choose the International Driver download

Read the Driver Installation Hints

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case

Hope this helps

Thanks for your help finding the driver, but it does when installing the driver it does the same thing as always it turns my screen black and freezes and then reboots and keeps doing the same thing everytime i restart. Its only fixed until i take the driver off the system in safe mode. I have no idea what to do now.
