Fujitsu Stylistic LT C-500 Tablet, OS woes!

Hi all

A friend got one of these tablet pcs without an operating system on it. Now it doesn't have a floppy drive, CDrom drive or an ethernet port so those options are right out the window. I can however connect the hdd to my main pc as an extra drive or a laptop as the primary drive. I need to be able to install an operating system. Is there any way I can drop files on to the hdd and install from there? Ideally XP, but would be happy with anything workable such as Linux.
Well hope someone can help, thanks.

I don't know if you still need it, but this guy has on Ebay a restore DVD for this Stylistic model. I had same issue with Stylistic P600 and it fixed it in a snap, a since then everything just runs smoothly. Cool thing is that its been only 9 bucks and he ships worldwide.
Here is the link for one of his auctions Restore DVD Fujitsu Stylistic C-500 e P-600 su eBay.it Fujitsu Siemens, Computer portatili, Informatica e Palmari .When i first found one, it was expired but lookin for other auctions from same seller did the trick ;-)

If it has usb ports then maybe you can install it from a usb flash drive or an external cd/dvd drive if either are recognized by the BIOS. You can't just put the installation files onto a hard drive. If the computer doesn't have a usb drive or doesn't recognize an external device then I'm afraid that you are up a creek without a paddle.
