BT Yahoo Mail

Has anybody had problems with BT Yahoo mail? It appears sometime yesterday that they have deactivated my account. I have asked BT but they are unable to give me an answer saying they have to refer the matter to Yahoo in Cananda and it could take a weel for them to sort the problem.I would appreciate any views or information on this.
