simply go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ it may take a few weeks to be noticed, but its never failed me.

dont ever say you wont get a good ranking in google. our scouts website is ranked number 10 in the search for cwmgwrach.

You don't need to submit URL to google as it detects, finds and index your URL directly. Now a days this technique is being considered black hat (spam) so please avoid that unless you would be wash out from google.
