got something which has been bugging me for a while- here is an example.

Why is it when i type www.freewebs.com/angelicagowns in to the address bar - it comes up. But if i type it into the google search engine- it wont appear?

why is this!?

Because it's not in Google's Index. Usually happens if a site is very new or doens't have any link sform other sites pointed to it.

Google Search engine regularly cached every pages through our google bots and regularly update database. In your condition, this possibility is taken..
Your requested pages is not in google indexed so google do not show you.. when google self cache and update or added in database then sure google show you, your requested url....
