Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Go to the Control Panel and double click Add/Remove programs. Uninstall the following:
TV Media
Precision Time
GMT
WeatherCast
WhenU (And related entries)
Gator (And related entries)


Delete the following files and folders:
C:\PROGRA~1\SEARCH~1
C:\Program Files\TV Media
C:\PROGRA~1\INCRED~1
C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\tskmgr32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\qpvtjlm.exe
C:\WINDOWS\alchem.exe
C:\WINDOWS\wupdt.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII

Reboot and post a fresh log

Stick to your original thread please!

Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2} - C:\Program Files\TV Media\TvmBho.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows ControlAd] C:\Program Files\Windows ControlAd\WinCtlAd.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TaskMgr] C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\tskmgr32.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe

Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders:
C:\Program Files\TV Media

Reboot and post a fresh log

i just tried to delete c: program files\tv media. i got amessage stating this,
Cannot delete tvmbho.dll it is being used by another person or program.
what does this mean?

Download the Pocket Killbox from here.

Unzip it and run the program.

Put a check in the Delete on Reboot box.

Enter each of these lines into the white box one by one and then press the red X button. If firsts asks to confirm the deletion after each entry is added and the red X is pressed, you need to click yes, but it also asks if you want to Reboot. Click No each time until the last entries been entered.

C:\Program Files\TV Media\TvmBho.dll

When KillBox has rebooted your system, try and delete the TV Media folder again.
