Re: Do I Have Adaquate Protection?

A firewall would be handy, either ZA or Kerio. Spyware Blaster is another free protection program from here http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/

Re: Do I Have Adaquate Protection?

Thats Sygate not Seagate . You don't really need Sygate if you have Norton Internet Security, which includes Norton Personal Firewall. If you install both, then conflicts are going to happen, which can cause system crashes.

Both SpywareBlaster and Ad-aware would be a good idea. The one problem which remains is Real Time Spyware Protection. If you have the TeaTimer module of Spybot Enabled, your safe. If not download SpywareGuard as well as SpywareBlaster from the site that Tassie mentioned.
