Need help I think my cpu is infected with a virus
If someone can look at my hijackthis log and see if there is something that shouldn't be there? My problem is, my cpu is getting logged/lagged out big time and thats why I think I might have a virus? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

O2 - BHO: QuickSearch Search Bar - {82315A18-6CFB-44a7-BDFD-90E36537C252} - C:\Program Files\QuickSearch\QuickSearchBar1_27.dll
O3 - Toolbar: QuickSearch Search Bar - {82315A18-6CFB-44a7-BDFD-90E36537C252} - C:\Program Files\QuickSearch\QuickSearchBar1_27.dll

Click Fix Checked

Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders:
C:\Program Files\QuickSearch

Reboot and post a fresh log

My cpu is running much better, but for some strange reason I am getting "IE Script Error" with certain web pages like this one? Sure I be in a different tread then "Spyware, Adware and Virus?" Again I really apperciate your kindness and help

Have a read of this Microsoft help page. Its got various suggestions for solving this error. I wouldn't bother with the one about your antivirus scanning temp folders, disabling it on these folders could easily let bad files from the internet through. A lot of viruses are found in temp folders.
