Talking problem with windows xp- and cookies
I originalluy posted my problem in the windows xp forum and it was suggested that I post m y log here in the adware spyware forum as well.

all of a sudden I can not see any cookies online- and I have changed all of my settigns so low to the point that I can't go any lower.

Does anyone have any suggestions

Can you please move HijackThis to it's own folder on your C:drive (example: C:\HijackThis). The program makes important backups which can be accidently lost when running from it's current location. If anything goes wrong with your fix, you may need these backups to restore your machine to it's previous state.

To do this, go to My Computer (Windows key+e)
Double click on C:
then right click and select New > Folder
Name it HijackThis and unzip/move your copy of HJT to it for future use.

Jaynee- Ok I checked and deleted all of the files you suggested. and ran another hijack log - Limewire does still show up in programs , and I do not want this program anymore.

Also in addition to the entries Jaynee asked you to fix, fix these:

After you've performed both the fixes Jaynee mentioned and my additional fixes, boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following files and folders. Search for files without a specific location:
C:\PROGRA~1\SEARCH~1
C:\Program Files\MyWay
msnmsg.exe (Be sure not to delete the valid msmsgs.exe file!)
C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd

Reboot and post a fresh log

Owen - Thanks for jumping in to help. I was able to delete the files from the log but of the three additional files you asked me to search for in safe mode I was only able to find the last file and delete it. Maybe you could pass me another hint to find the right filepath to these two files? : )

Do you feel that eliminating these problems will help me to be able to see cookies again on my computer?

Well the files I asked you to delete:

C:\PROGRA~1\SEARCH~1- This should be a folder called SearchRelevancy located in the C:\Program Files folder.

C:\Program Files\MyWay- This one is easy enough to figure out I'm sure

msnmsg.exe (Be sure not to delete the valid msmsgs.exe file!)- Located in either the C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32 directory.

C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd- This one is easy enough to figure out I'm sure

If you still can't find all of them, not to worry. Post a fresh log after performing my fixes.

Owen- Still unable to delete those 2 files. can't find them on the local disk c or the hard disk c. I am stumped. here is the lateest log file for my computer. In your opinion, do you think these changes may help me to see cookies again on my computer? I am still stumped about that one too.
