Help with remove of realupd.exe and msjb.dll, please?

Hi there! I was here the other day and got great help with some spyware removal. I'm now having some problems with two viruses(?). I have Spyware Blaster on. I've also run Ad-aware SE and Spybot S&D. When I run my AVG Antivirus, it gives me two viruses that cannot be removed realupd.exe and msjb.dll. Can someone help me remove these items, please? Here is my most recent HJT log.

Thanks!
~Liz

Run an Online Scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com. Remove any infections it finds and then reboot and post a fresh log.

Hello,
Close all browser windows, restart Hijack This and put a checkmark next to the following entries:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [RealUpdater] C:\WINDOWS\System32\realupd.exe

Click Fix Checked
Then boot into Safe Mode and ensure that you are showing Hidden Files and Folders.

Delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\realupd.exe

Reboot and post a fresh log

Hey there ;D

Looks like I got rid of realupd.ext. I didn't come up on HJT or AVG Anti-Virus. However, on AVG C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSJB.DLL still comes up and cannot be put in the "Virus Vault". Attached is the latest HJT log. Thanks!

Re: Help with remove of realupd.exe and msjb.dll, please?

The log is clean. We'll try removing this manually.

Boot into Safe Mode.

Delete the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSJB.DLL

Then reboot and tell me how things are doing.

Re: Help with remove of realupd.exe and msjb.dll, please?

I booted in Safe Mode, it wouldn't allow me to remove the file. I tried it several times, even unchecking the 'read only' attribute. I got the following message each time;

"Cannot delete msjb: Access Denied
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and
that the file is not in use."

Re: Help with remove of realupd.exe and msjb.dll, please?

Hello,
Could you download PV.zip and unzip it.

Open the folder and double click the file called runme.bat

When the program starts, type 1 and press Enter.

The program will then create a log in the folder called log.txt.

The log file will then automatically open. At the top of the windows, click Edit> Select All and then click Edit> Copy and then come back here to D-A-L and click in a Reply box and click Edit> Paste so that I can take a look at your log.
